Come with me to Powell Gardens.
Admire the blooms.
Watch the butterflies flit from flower to flower.
Wander over the bridge.
See your reflection in the sun dappled ponds.
Play in the fairy houses and forts. (Yes, that's me in the pyramid fort.)
Breathe the fresh air.
Listen to the birds.
Chase through the paths in the edible gardens and orchards.
Climb to the top of the silo.
And take a moment to give thanks for a beautiful day.
What a beautiful place!!
ReplyDeleteI'm green with envy...as we are still coping with freezing temps. here.

ReplyDeleteThanks for taking me to visit. I always take my granddaughters when they set up a new feature. Still on a walker so won't make it this year.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty. Wish I had more Lily's in my garden!
ReplyDeleteVisiting gardens can be so inspiring. These certainly are by the looks of them.
ReplyDeleteWe are thankful for a day of steady rain after a hot week. The garden is very thirsty. :-)

ReplyDeleteHello Gayle,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to send you a note to thank you for the comment you left on the blog about thinking I had moved. I hadn't closed that blog out or the one that was private that I was using as a journal on my weight loss journey and Bible studies I was doing because I wanted to print off some of the material. Your note prompted me to go ahead and get those things taken care of. It turned out that I couldn't print any of it out but both blogs associated with Blogger are now deleted.
Hopefully when I go to publish this comment things will go smoothly. :)
Just talked about this the other day. It is a beautiful place....wonderful...smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteYou've been to Powell Gardens haven't you. I so like to go there.

HI! Thanks for commenting on my blog. Thought I would pop over and say "hello" to you too. Love the way you are framing your photos in your post. What program are you using to do that if I may ask... they look great! Also, having grown up in the midwest am curious as to where you live. Just a snoopy old woman here. LOL
