Laura Conyers Smith Municipal Rose Garden, in Loose Park.
Once the site of a Civil War battlefield,
this park is now one of the jewels of Kansas City.

ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful. I love the old fashioned roses - they usually have the best perfume too. How amazing that the rose garden was once a battlefield - now that is a worthwhile transformation!
