I think just about everyone is ready for winter to be over and for the snow to disappear. I'm dreaming of green leaves and blossoms bursting with color!
Beautiful mosaic! I'm right there with you in your dreams! We received a foot and a half of snow Friday and Saturday. We are to get another foot tomorrow! :) Gives me pleasant thoughts about all of this snow keeping my spring bulbs insulated and warm so they can outdo themselves in a few months!
Ahhhh, yes this Ozarks farm chick is just dreamin' of the beautiful colors and wonderful aromas of flowers. But...shoot take it, all I see is white snow coverin' everything in my gardens.
Ya'll have a wonderfully blessed day from the hills and hollers of the Missouri Ponderosa!!!
I forgot to mention that I was happy to hear that your kids made it home safely over the weekend and were able to return to college. Even though it was just for a few hours, don't you just treasure the time you have with them.
Love your mosaic - the colours are lovely - in my garden in Scotland its blacks, browns and tans just now - quite appropriate title post for me with a blog called leavesnblooms.
Oh how pretty the colors of SPRING. I really enjoyed your mosaic--especially as I look out of my window to 23 inches of SNOW with more on the way!!!! I'm sorry that i never had a chance until now to answer your question that you asked about the Chinese Market squash..trhey were quite long.. almost two feet!
I have been blogging about food and markets a lot lately ..lol...it must be the winter doldrums.
That is a very pretty mosaic ... lovely flowers. Thanks for stopping my and visiting my everlasting daisy mosaic post as well ... I appreciated it very much!
Hang in there spring will be here soon. In answer to your spray paint question, I try to do it outside on a still day and put it in the middle of the yard on a sheet. This time I did it in a corner of the basement far away from everything. But the smell came all through the house and it was pretty strong!
Hi Gayle - how are you?! Love your pink flower mosaic - I am sure you northern hemisphere dwellers are dying for spring! I know I would be!!! Keep warm! thanks for stopping by and your lovely comments Gena @ thinking aloud
Just found your sweet blog! Great mosaic...sure a contrast from all the snow we have here in Northern Mich. Loved looking through your archives...Will be back for sure to get to know you better, xoxo`Kathy @ Sweet Up-North Mornings...
Do stop when time permits...would love to have you! Hapy LOVE month...
Thanks for the little bit of spring today. We have snow and frigid temps here. I absolutely Love your crochet heart collection you showed. They're beautiful. Have a nice week! Twyla
Hi Gayle, just picked a lovely bunch of zinnias this morning, so birght and cheery one of my favourite flowers. Not trying to make you all jealous, but sending warm wishes to you all for a lovely Spring. I wouldn't mind a bit of your snow right now. We are sweltering through a rather humid summer AND the aircon.has decided to pack it in. You can't even scratch yourslef without raising a sweat. So that's the other side of the coin for you.
I'm looking forward to spring, too. But it's so short and then the heat starts here in TX. Your flower mosaic is beautiful and so full of color! Patricia :o)
PS: Your post on your bluebirds inspired my post yesterday. I find my linens everywhere I go. I can't help but look for them. The best findings seem to be at flea markets.
Thanks for the reminder that there is something green under all this white stuff. In fact, I have some daffys that don't know any better peeking throught the snow.
I wanted to come by and thank you for visiting my blog today. I am feeling better this week...thank you for your concern. The gifts from my grandson will be ones that I'll always treasure. He's a sweetie.
THANK YOU for your thoughtful comments. Replies to your questions will be posted here, so be sure to check back soon. Have a wonderful day! - Gayle, Garden Of Daisies
