Oh Gayle, I would give up now......toooo hard, but then again I spy a MOP beauty and there's a cute little blue one in the middle and then again.......
I see one that I would choose...it is at about the 5:30 mark (if the plate were a clock) and has rindstones all around an opal sort of stone...very pretty. I am crazy for buttons and have many too, they are so much fun! xo
My great grandmother gave me a big jar of buttons when I was a child, and it was one of my most treasured possessions. I loved to line them all up in button families and look at all the unusual ones. I don't know what happened to it - I wish I still had it though!
Isn't this the truth. I can finish a sewing project and fiddle for hours trying to pick the button to go with it. Too many great choices. Beautiful collection. Smiles...Renee
I've been sitting here with my tea waking up, and trying to pick out a favorite, so that I can tell you how wonderful it is. I cannot, there are simply too many to pick one. You are so lucky. People around here don't get rid of buttons cheaply. They know they're wonderful!
Well what a coincidence. I am setting up my studio and am trying to decide if I should put my buttons into jars and display them! I have tons of buttons and lots of canning jars, but I am hesitant to take the buttons off the paper packaging they come on because then they are all together and I won't have to search for matching ones. Hmmmmmm. Maybe I'll just put the loose ones in a jar! Julie
So pretty, I love your collection! I need to do something with mine besides hiding them in my sewing closet. ~smile~ though I think yours are much prettier. Sue
I can never pick a favorite - but if I could it would be one with the thread still attached. I've not had my buttons out for a while - maybe I'll go visit them.
Are you looking for buttons to complete the project you started a couple of posts back? Thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. Hope you are having a great week. Tammy

What are you going to do with all those buttons. They look nice the way you have them displayed. You have a nice collection.
