The weather hasn't cooperated with us this year.
We haven't had a winter to speak of... not much cold or snow.
So I headed to the kitchen to create some frosty-freezy-ness of my own.
Root beer floats.
Ice cold root beer poured over a scoop or two of vanilla ice-cream.

And if you're old like me, you'll remember these Papa, Mama and Baby sized mugs.

Yummy! I love root beer floats..I haven't had one since moving to the UK..especially with A&W root beer. I will have to see if I can find some root beer here and have a go at making these..they look far to good to resist :)
ReplyDeleteThose look delicious! Someone would argue this weather has been very cooperative ;)
ReplyDeleteAdorable mugs! I kind of like having the jet stream stay up north during winter. Maybe it will swoop south in summer and keep us cool then!
ReplyDeleteI love Root Beer floats. I put the mugs in the freezer for an hour before I make them. So yummy.
ReplyDeleteI have the mugs, even the wee baby one.
Don't apologize. Life should come before blogging. :-)

ReplyDeleteOh, I remember trips to A&W for floats and baby sister having a baby one! Rootbeer floats have always been a favorite treat with my kids :)

ReplyDeleteThose floats look yummy and I remember those mugs! To tell the truth, though, I'd rather have a Pepsi or Coke float.
ReplyDeleteI am trying very hard not to get addicted to Pinterest! It's so much fun. I haven't heard of the Polyvore, so I'll be checking it out.

Oh YUMMY!!! I LOVE A&W root beer and Teen Burgers...I can taste them now sigh. My step sister used to be a car hop in Canada...it was pretty cold in the winter walking out to the cars taking orders but she loved it. She would always put extra pickles on my burgers...shhhh don't tell anyone ;) We had a few of these mugs and kept them in the freezer :)
