Trim

Trying to forget how quiet the house is.
Playing in my box of trim.
I love the daisy lace.

  3. I bet it's tough having an empty nest isn't it. I bet you'll adjust quickly though, you're so creative and active it will work itself out to a routine.

Your trims are so pretty! I love daisy lace too. I've been checking WalMarts remnants bin for odds and ends trims. Not the fabric remnants. The trim bits are kept up by their cutting counter. You may have to ask. But I've found some cute ones to add to my "collection" ;)

  10. That quiet house takes some getting used to, but it looks like you've found a fun way to keep your mind off of it.

  13. Collecting trim is fun and thinking what you will do with it but then when it comes to cutting or using it, the scissors freeze up. I just cant stand the thought so back it goes into the special container.

YOU have some amazing trim and its just *soul* relaxing to just hold them.

Thank you for your visit and kind remarks. I hope you have a blessed day and happy sewing.

  16. The daisy lace brings back memories of a white sear sucker sleeveless summer dress when I was about 10 or so. Daisy lace surrounded the hem line. It was so pretty!

    Pretty trims.
