Crazy Crinkles And Wrinkles

Oooh, I found some green Crinkle!
I love these wrinkled bowls!

"Crinkle" was made by Morgantown Glass Co  in the 60s and early 70's.
(and Seneca Glass fulfilled the remaining orders after Morgantown closed their doors in 1971.)

This pattern was made in an amazing rainbow of 25 colors,
with great names like Pineapple, Amethyst, Topaz, Peacock and Gypsy Fire.
But plain ol' green is the one I like best.

At least I THINK these footed sherbet bowls are Crinkle!
There were other wrinkled glassware patterns that looked really similar
and it's kinda hard to tell them apart.

Take a look at ALL these other wrinkled patterns:
(These are not mine.)

"El Rancho" by Bryce,

"Milano" by Anchor Hocking

  "Driftwood" by Seneca

and "Lido" by Anchor Hocking.

A person could go crazy trying to keep these sorted out!

  1. What a fun find! How lucky you are. The glasses are a lovely shade of green. I didn't know that that was the pattern name of this glass, so it was fun learning something new today. I think I might have an amber-colored pitcher in this style—if such a thing was ever made?

I do remember the magic paper dolls, I loved them as a little girl. They were fun to take along in the car for those long rides to Grandma's house.

Thanks for visiting our blog today...and don't give up if you have a wish for some land. We used to live in the city years ago...a farm, along with chickens, were on my wish list for some time. 12. Those are great! I remember similar glassware growing up in the 70s, but I never thought about it having a name - or possible three other names. Fun post and thanks for the info. Now I'll know what to call them if I run across them. :)
