It's a beautiful day!
And the lilacs are starting to bloom.
Sometimes real life gets totally crazy.
(I'm sure you can relate.)
Funerals, bridal showers, graduations,
moving kids home, son's acceptance to law school...
I promise I'll be by to visit you just as soon as I can.
Until then, I hope you have time to enjoy the beauties of spring.
I think most of us can relate to your post. Sometimes I go an entire week before I can catch up with my blog friends. The lilacs are beautiful...I don't believe they grow in my part of the world. But we do have Crape Myrtles that bloom in the summer.
ReplyDeleteWow you're plate is full.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it all!
My lilacs are not blooming yet-- can't wait. Yes, life can be "a lot" at times.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your real life it is more important. Congrats to son for getting into Law School. A lot of work ahead of him.
ReplyDeleteWonderful news all the way around! <3
ReplyDeleteOh how I love lilacs and their wonderful scent. Your photos and editing are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your son on getting into law school.
The image of your lovely lilacs caught my winter-drained eye. We have just enjoyed three straight days of glorious spring like weather and the pond , lawns and gardens are free of snow for the first time since November. Which is a good thing as we prepare for our son's wedding here at home on June 1st plus the rehearsal dinner picnic the evening before. Add parties and somehow a tremendous amount of yardwork and I can totally understand where you are at too:o)
ReplyDeleteWith our very late spring, the lilacs are just showing first buds so I will revisit your picture again!!!
Your lilacs are beautiful! I can't wait until they bloom here. I hope they bloom, we've had such strange weather lately and the weatherman says it will get very cold again one day this week.
