This weekend we visited the Louisburg Cider Mill.
Pumpkins and mums.
Hot apple cider and cider donuts sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.
Apple butter!
Moo! Oink! And isn't this a nifty old stove?
Perfect ideas for holiday gift giving.

ReplyDeleteI've never been to the Louisburg Cider Mill. Our annual trek to the pumpkin patch is to The Red Barn Farm in Weston, MO. We went last weekend and it was a beautiful day. Bruce has a difficult time walking around so we found a couple of comfortable chairs under a shade tree and people watched. It was a very relaxing day.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

What a neat place to visit! So many beautiful things and that stove is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh yes....! Love to go to places like this. WE did quite often when the kids were young. I can actually remember the ice cold apple cider and the apple cider fried donuts...SOOOOOOOOO yummy. I wanted the recipe!!! The kids do remember the place. They heard about Jonny Appleseed and got a hay ride and brought home pumpkins with that bag of donuts to boot! They all got a little red apple sippy container w/straw. Such fun.
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day I will have grandkids to do this same thing and watch all the smiles... In the mean time it is fun to read about your ventures at such a wonderful place. YOU are having fun. :-)
Hugs to you!
