Kim, your MI winters are even colder than ours. I do stay cozy while working on my crochet projects. Still plugging away on the ripple for my grandchild. It's taking me quite a bit longer to make, because I have to keep changing the stitches.
Winter in Kansas looks a lot like winter in Missouri! It is 3 decrees here this morning. I'm so done with this cold! At least we're not supposed to get as much snow this weekend as they originally predicted. Stay warm! Twyla

Did you know, I once lived in the snow of Kansas? My husbands' company transferred us there for several years. I can still remember how it was to shovel snow off the driveway...
I thought about snapping photos of our recent snowfall, but after shoveling nearly 15" of it off our driveway on Tuesday night, I'm done with it. I'm so ready for Spring!

The photo tells it all. Normally we would have that too. Not sure why NE is getting missed this year. Maybe because God knows I can't handle both? (snow and cold?)
It's not too different from what we normally have. The super cold temps are sticking around a little longer, but we actually have less snow this year than last.
We got a taste of this too...not the norm for us. Snow and then ice. Jimmy and I came down with colds and haven't been out of the house since Thursday afternoon. I am ready to get out! Ah, winter.
During our hot summers, I try to trick my body into thinking that it's cooler by imagining cold scenery in my head. So this photo may come in handy during July. :-) The day this photo was taken, it was -5 (-20 C) and that was no where near the coldest day of the year. As we approach the 30's (0 C) later this week, we'll probably ditch the jackets and run around in our shirt sleeves. Cold and hot are such relative things... it just depends on what one is used to.
