A very SPECIAL little someone will be making an appearance this spring.
So there is a flurry of yellow, green and aqua sewing and crocheting
going on around here.
(All gender neutral colors, as we won't know 'til birth day.)
So excited to be joining the Grandma Club!
Smiling from ear to ear!
:-)
I would love to be joining the Grandmother's Club.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking forward to this for a while.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam!
DeleteOh what fun! You have no idea the amount of fun you will have - it will be beyond what you can even imagine.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors - and can't wait to find out - boy or girl. Enjoy every little minute.
I know! And I have a pretty vivid imagination! :-) You'll have to share some words of wisdom.
DeleteI'm so excited for you, Gayle! I look forward to joining that club myself! Your little one will have many beautiful crocheted items from you. Have a nice day! Twyla
ReplyDeleteTwyla, I think I'm going to have to teach myself how to crochet more than just a square. So many cute baby things out there, that I have NO IDEA how to make!
DeleteGayle, Congratulations! I am currently knitting my very first baby blanket (in yellow) for my first grandchild due this spring as well! We'll both be in the Grandma Club...whoo hoo! We don't know the gender either, so I've been using a lot of yellow in my crafting lately. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, yellows and greens are good colors, if you ask me! :-)
DeleteCongratulations Gayle - how exciting for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting me recently and leaving a comment. I've been a bit tired and overwhelmed by life recently but I'm hoping to get back into blogging again soon:)
This is such lovely news - I'm sure you can't wait!!
I've missed you!
DeleteThat's exciting news Gayle, congrats and I have to say it's nice that bubs' gender will be a surprise as well. Like knowing what's in the pressie before you unwrap it....:(
ReplyDeleteLovely colours you've chosen and I thought I had commented on the previous post but realised I hadn't.!! Another great blanket crocheted and fab colours used. There's no stopping you now.
Are you going to be called Grandma as well?........x
I was very happy when they said they were going to wait to find out if it was a boy or girl. We didn't want to know when we had our kids, either. I wanted that to be the big surprise at the birth. I haven't decided what to be called yet. Do you have any suggestions?
DeleteWhat exciting news. My niece is due April 4th and I can not wait. She is having a girl and I really need to get sewing for her.
ReplyDeleteHugs
donna
I can't wait to see what you make for your grandniece!
DeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI joined the grandmas club last January! Congratulations! You will love it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Any words of wisdom for me?
DeleteThat alligator fabric is adorable!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that alligator fabric cute? I knew I had to have it when I saw it. :-)
DeleteCongratulations! Wonderful news, and love the colors! Looking forward to seeing your finished projects!
ReplyDeleteBecca, I wish I could crochet as well as you!
DeleteWelcome to the club. You will love every minute.! The baby will be so lucky to have a wonderful blanket made by his/her GM
ReplyDeleteThanks. I hope it turns out nice. I'm trying a new stitch. (Maybe I should not have used my grandkid as the guinea pig?)
DeleteI'm smiling at your Grandma club. Congratulations and lots of blessings.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kim! And it looks like I'm in great company, with lots of other wonderful bloggers!
DeleteYou are about to have the ride of your life! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCrocheting, Wow! It's almost a lost art. My granny and mama did it. My hands are so uncoordinated. I only have the gift of gab!
Thanks for finding me!
Bonnie
Can't wait for the ride!! :-) Thanks for coming by!
DeleteYou think you are grinning now, just wait till you have that little person in your arms. We have 2 grandsons one 6 and one almost 3 and my face has not stopped aching yet with all the grinning we still do. Enjoy!! It really is a fabulous experience And I truly feel sorry for anyone who doesn't get the chance to experience it. And of course it looks like he/she will be brilliantly 'spoiled' by grandma too!
ReplyDeleteI sounds like your grandkids are lucky to have you as a Grandma, too! :-)
DeleteAwww...Gayle, Congratulations! I am so excited for you to become a grandma. There is such a special bond between grandparents and their grandchildren!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dianna! :-)
DeleteCongrats! I like to be surprised by the birth.
ReplyDeleteAll pretty colors!
Saving the "it's a girl/boy" announcement for birth seems to be rare these days. But very sweet, I think.
DeleteSo sweet! Lucky baby and congratulations to Grandma.
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteYea, I bet you can't wait!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
M : )
I'm looking forward to meeting this precious baby!
DeleteOh congratulations!! I see they are waiting to tell the sex of the baby...I applaud them! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAww, congratulations! So exciting! Darling blanket you have started! Have a lovely weekend! xo Heather
