I think my little collection of blue and green crocheted potholders
has grown over the past year.
Multiplied like rabbits, I tell you.
I can't seem to walk away when I find one in a store.
The sneaky things jump right into my basket!
Luckily for me they are inexpensive.
I love all the fun and intricate patterns.
Each one a little work of art.

I love your nice collection...each one different, too. I like to look at old linens and old books. They have a Christmas area at my thrift store so I usually look there first...just in case! heehee! Enjoy your week!

What a pretty collection. I like those as well. I have collected potholders that look like little dresses. Maybe I'll have to do a blog post on that sometime now that you've inspired me.

Gayle, your vintage potholders are so pretty. They remind me so much of my grandmother. She is where I get my love of crocheting from. She could simply pick up a piece and then get to work making one just like it. The more intricate the design the more she loved it! Thank you so much for sharing your collection.

ReplyDeleteI started my collection of crocheted hot pads about three years ago; my top price is 1.00 at the thrift. I hang them like a border under my upper cabinets in the kitchen. They are in color families, reds, red with a little blue leads to blues, blue with yellow leads to yellow etc. I re-group them every so often and the ones that come down go in the drawer to USE. There are so many patterns! Love that you love them too!
