It's official. I now have three green glass reamers, so it's a collection.
I can't believe I found the one in the upper right corner for $3 a few days ago.
That's a steal of a deal!
I've had the others for several years and have shown them in past posts.

Speaking of pretty green glass,
I saw these gorgeous pieces for sale last month
at a little antique shop in Paola:
Look! They had a reamer just like one of mine!
I really liked the Raggedy Anne and Andy dolls,
the awesome red scale, turquoise coin bank
and little toy iron.
The owner was just as nice as could be.
And there was a cute resident puppy-dog and bird.
Plus there was a great little restaurant next door called Beethoven's No. 9.
It was such a wonderful little shop and I hope to make a return visit soon!
The green is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYes, you officially have a collection now.
My reamer is just plain ol' clear!
Isn't it interesting how reamers were so important that they took the time and thought to make so many differnt styles? I had not realized this before seeing your three together. Thanks for sharing your new 'collection'. xo
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to find a place that calls you back.
ReplyDeleteYes, three make a collection, while two are just 'two of them'. :)
All that green is making me perfectly happy!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend.

ReplyDeleteThere is something just lovely about green glass. Your green glass reamers are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat antique shop looks like a great place to go antique hunting. I like the name of it as well. I use to have a Raggedy Anne and an Andy doll as a little child :)
Now I know what they are called. Not juicers. The green is so pretty. Hope you have somewhere nice to display them. (besides your blog that is)
ReplyDeleteOh love the pretty green - I have several pieces so it must be a collection. But not three reamers - they are lovely.
ReplyDeleteWow, $3 IS a heck of a deal! I love green glass. We'll have to try the Paola shop sometime.
ReplyDeleteI went to Wamego today for their citywide garage sales. Spent about $12 and came home with all kinds of goodies! It's so fun to find great deals on things that make you smile :)
Amazing collection, yep more than two is a collection. :) Just guessing. I really love depression glass especially the green! The antique shoppe you went to has alot of interesting finds. Wish there were more around here.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,
Hugs Rosemary...xx
How much fun!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check this little gem of a store out next time I am in Paola.
We love Beethoven's, glad to hear that they are still in business.

What a pretty collection you have of those reamers. It's so nice you use them too. Lemonade sounds really good right about now.

What a deal on your newest reamer. They are all so pretty. That sounds like a fun shopping place, and I loved all the photos you posted of it. laurie
ReplyDeletePretty reamers...I may have to stop in Paola to check all this green glass out!
ReplyDeleteOh you should have called...I make it a point to eat there every year when I get my taxes done right across the street. What a wonderful shop this is and the food at B's is beyond good. My mother has a thing for reamers and she uses them. Her lemonade is so much better than mine it make me spin. These are beautiful. Smiles...Renee
