May the Bluebird of Happiness Fly Through Your Door

May the bluebird of happiness fly through your door and never leave.

It seems that a whole bunch of them flew into my house.
Which is fine...
so long as they don't leave any messes.

  9. Hey Gayle, long time since I posted a comment and not because I didn't want to. Some little computer gremlin was making things difficult and I couldn't figure out quite what to do. Somehow, I am hoping all is sorted. Anyway, I shall give it a whirl!! Love the little bluebirds, in fact I love any sort of birdy.
Hope you are well, have a great weekend.

  33. OK you will think I'm a nut! But when I read your post title...I sang to myself "May the bird of paradise fly up your nose!" and I thought "Where did that come from?" so I Googled it and IT IS a song by Little Jimmy Dickens! HA! I remember my mom always singing that but really didn't know why. Anyway...I love the birds and the blues! Question? When a dear sweet coworker of mine passed away of cancer, another coworker gave me a small glass bluebird as a rememberance. She said it meant "something I can't remember now?" Do you know anything about what blue birds symbolize? It sits on my desk and I think of Marilyn every time I look at it.
    Love the post...so pretty pretty.
Hope your weekend with son was fun and relaxing. Are you okay when he heads back?
