I love colored pencils! I'm not an artist, but I do like to doodle.
I drew all sorts of designs for costumes during my daughter's dance years. I doodled fun little pictures on the lunch bags that my kids took to school. I still scribble nonsense on napkins at the kitchen table when I talk on the phone.
I keep all my colored pencils in an old milk bottle carrier. I love the bright splash of color they add to the room. And I like having them handy whenever I have a minute to be creative.

ReplyDeleteI love colored pencils, too. When I was a kid I loved the anticipation of opening a great big box of crayons with all their perfectly formed tips in all the shades of the rainbow. Have a wonderful weekend. Patty
ReplyDeleteOh I love the colored pencils carrier - what a great idea. I'm in love with colored pencils but don't have near the amount you do. Like a rainbow sitting on your table. Love your "doodles" - I've often heard it said that an artist doodles the butterflies of their mind. Keep doodling!

Oh look! There's my milk bottle carrier, and it looks so cute with all of the pretty colored pencils in it. When I doodle, it looks like doodling. When you doodle, it looks so creative. So glad you linked this to Favorite Things Sat. laurie

ReplyDeleteHave you ever used Prisma colored pencils? They are the Cadillac of colored pencils! Hobby Lobby sells them.
ReplyDeleteYou are an artist and just dont know it....there are all kinds of us..... I love all the colored pencils....It makes me want to run out and buy some and put them in jars like yours......
