Pillow Party- Mosaic Monday

Pillows made from vintage  embroidered tea towels, pillowcases and chenille bedspreads, with rickrack, lace and button trims added.   The embroidered duckling pillow is actually a baby pillow.

It's twice the fun today.  Joining  Rhondi's Pillow Party at  Rose Colored Glasses and Mary's Mosaic Monday at Little Red House .  Click on the links to see all the other creative pillows and wonderful mosaics.
Oh wait, three times the fun!   Just adding a third linky.  Smiling Sally is hosting Blue Monday.

  5. It is so nice to meet you via Pondside, I love you work, I can remember those patterns at my grandmothers when I was little.
It is lovely to make something from old things, I made two cosy 1920's woolly hats and fingerless mitts from a cashmere sweater that had a hole in the elbow, it was very satisfying.

  20. My Grandmother taught me how to do embroider like that when I was a girl. I still have some of her old pieces that she embroidered. I love the pillows made out of old linens. Thanks for sharing. Love & blessings from NC!
