Pillows made from vintage embroidered tea towels, pillowcases and chenille bedspreads, with rickrack, lace and button trims added. The embroidered duckling pillow is actually a baby pillow.

It is so nice to meet you via Pondside, I love you work, I can remember those patterns at my grandmothers when I was little.
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely to make something from old things, I made two cosy 1920's woolly hats and fingerless mitts from a cashmere sweater that had a hole in the elbow, it was very satisfying.
