    1. We are having a much cooler summer than normal, so people can go outside after 8 am and not suffer heat stroke. :-)

    1. Fewer bugs would not be such a bad thing... especially mosquitos.

    1. This summer has been so much nicer than usual. We don't have to hibernate inside in the air conditioning.

    1. We normally have temps somewhere between 95 and 112 through all of July and August. This summer has been quite a bit cooler than normal, and I'm really enjoying it.

  14. What a beautiful piece of eye candy you left us with, Gayle! I LOVE picnics! We did one when our grandson was here with us and just this past week when our granddaughters were with us. One was everything done from scratch...fried chicken, potato salad, etc. The other was roasting our own hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire pit. Both were equally enjoyed! Yours sounds (and looks) lovely!

    1. Picnics are such a fun way to get together. My best friend and I actually split the food responsibilities, so no one had to do too much.
