We normally have temps somewhere between 95 and 112 through all of July and August. This summer has been quite a bit cooler than normal, and I'm really enjoying it.
What a beautiful piece of eye candy you left us with, Gayle! I LOVE picnics! We did one when our grandson was here with us and just this past week when our granddaughters were with us. One was everything done from scratch...fried chicken, potato salad, etc. The other was roasting our own hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire pit. Both were equally enjoyed! Yours sounds (and looks) lovely!
Your picnic food sounds perfect! It's such an easy way to turn a regular old meal into an occasion that will be remembered for a long time. I cherish the memories of picnics with my Grandparents.
THANK YOU for your thoughtful comments. Replies to your questions will be posted here, so be sure to check back soon. Have a wonderful day! - Gayle, Garden Of Daisies

DeleteNothing beats a good picnic!! What fun! The weather is cooler in my neck of the woods. Maybe the bugs will be fewer.
ReplyDeleteFewer bugs would not be such a bad thing... especially mosquitos.

ReplyDeleteYou look well prepared.
Picnics are such a fun way to get together. My best friend and I actually split the food responsibilities, so no one had to do too much.
DeleteThat sounds like a perfect day! Heidi
