Barn Quilts- Missouri Star

I've always liked barns.
And I've always liked quilts.
Well... someone got smart and put the two together.
Painted quilt squares mounted on the side of a barn!

This is the Missouri Star,
a barn quilt on the Boonslick Trail

I loved this glimpse of the barn through the fence and wildflowers

You can learn more about the amazing barn quilts all across this country
at Suzi Paron's blog, Barn Quilts And The American Quilt Trail.
Or click here for a map of Barn Quilts in your state.

Joining Barn Charm.
Come on over and see all the other barns featured this week.

    1. Check the map in the link for quilt barns in your state. They add more each year, so if you know a farmer who is interested in doing this....

    1. It looks like the numbers are growing each year. And some states don't have theirs as well documented, yet.

  14. Gayle, thank you SO much for sharing the link where we could find the quilt trails in our own state. I learned something new about WV! All of the trails are in basically three counties in the southern part of our beautiful state. I was able to view all of the different patterns associated with each of those counties. Quite interesting!
