When my Mom was alive she used to make these very pot holders. I've seen each one of these styles handmade by her. I remember one year at a church bazaar she brought some of her pot holders and they disappeared before you knew what happen. She could have sold four or five times the number she made. I save the crocheted hot pads from the thrift store and have them as a border under my kitchen cabinets. They look adorable and each time I look at them it makes me smile.
