  3. Indeed, a site to behold. When we lived in Kansas we would take the kids to the plaza every year. The first year (being recently from California) we didn't take heavy jackets or hats and gloves - we thought the Plaza was indoors, as all good California "malls" are. We made a quick shopping stop for warm weather gear and really enjoyed ourselves after that. It still is one of our favorite Christmas memories.

  4. I love the Christmas lights! In downtown Victoria the lights outline the legislature and the trees on Government Street are ablaze. The rainy nights are particularly dark, with no snow to reflect the moon, so these lights are a welcome treat!

  5. How pretty! I love the lights in the neighborhood. Isn't it a friendly reminder that we're all in this together?
