An all time favorite. Tears just stream when I walk over the glass bridge at the WWII memorial and see the field of poppies below. The images and gifts tat God gives us as reminders that life is so dear...blessings...Renee
Such a poignant time of year. I get a shiver whenever I see those fields in Flanders. As we approach the centenary of the first Remembrance Day let's hope future generations don't forget.
We have just had remembrance day here is Aus., and the poppies are our reminder too of how lucky we are to live in such a wonderful country, thanks to the bravery of those soldiers...
