So pretty! Is it an annual?
This is the second blog that I've seen this kind of sage on, so I'm going to take it as a sign that I need to get some! I love red flowers!
That is so beautiful! The bloom reminds me of Cardinal flower! Enjoy your weekend! ♥
I am familiar with a sage plant which has the soft green leaf, but no scarlet flower. This is lovely . . .
Very pretty. I have Russian sage and ordinary run-of-the-mill sage that grows everywhere on the island - I love the smell of it!
You know I haven't planted it for a couple years but it is such a predictable plant and has the most beautiful bright red. Not to mention the smell...On my list next year...smiles...Renee
I'm only familiar with garden sage with purple blooms and one I grow in the flower bed with blue blooms, which stinks! This is certainly pretty!
Wow - I have grown this but never let it bloom. Who knew?
Hey Gayle, I remember my mum had this growing in her garden. Loving the beautiful scarlet flowers.........Think I shall have to track down a plant and then find a space in my garden for it, hmmm....Claire :}
I've never even heard of it! Do you make tea or anything with it?
It looks so pretty, I've never seen a sage with a red colored bloom.
That sounds wonderful! now if only we could scratch and sniff the screen.:-} Lorraine
A few hours ago I was out looking at my sage and thinking how healthy it looked (and thinking of Thanksgiving). My kind of sage has pretty purple flowers right now.
Pretty I bet it does smell so good.
I have never heard of that one but it looks pretty and must smell great.
I would love to know what you put this in?
What a lovely bloom..I haven't seen one of those plants before, not sure if we get those here or not.
So pretty and sound wonderful I have a regular Sage plant. I haven't seen this..nice. Have a wonderful Day..Janice
Lovely shot... sage is SO fragrant... I love to brush past it in the garden...
I do like those blooms. I will be on the lookout for it next spring.
Oh my gosh! That is gorgeous and I've not ever seen it before. Sage is one of my favorite plants/herbs. We live in a semi-arid climate and when it gets really hot the wild sage smells so aromatic...healing, ya know?
