We decided to spend our day in Parkville.
We meandered through all the wonderful little shops up and down Main Street.
They were celebrating Oktoberfest down by the river.
(Shops pictured here include: Peddler's Wagon Quilt Shop, Shabby Hattie's Tea Room,
Christmas On Main Street, Now You're Cookin', Parkville Coffeehouse, Stone Canyon Pizza and more.)
Before heading home, we paused for a few moments in the chapel,
to view the stained glass windows and whisper a prayer for a loved one.

(McCay Hall, Park University)
We scouted around for unique treasures at the antique mall.
(Do you see anything YOU would have brought home?)

Looks like a lovely place to visit. I think I would have a pretty fun time in the Antique mall! I would have a hard time walking away without at least one of those cute vintage items! :)

Yes, I saw something in the shop I would have liked to bring home. :)
The front of the chapel looks almost identical to the one at our local university; we were married in it 50 years ago.
I'd love to join you in your shopping adventures. Such a quaint little town.
How quaint...such a lovely Autumn feel! I love antique malls and can spend hours pouring through the stalls. I think I would've brought home those Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls! Have a great week, xjosie
