Lilacs And Violets

My lilacs have burst into spectacular and fragrant bloom!
And the wild sweet violets have scattered themselves throughout the dappled shade.
Spring has painted the world with beauty!

  21. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I love Lilacs! They are so fragrant! Growing up, I remember stringing the petals onto some fishing line and wearing the necklace to church. They didn't last long, but oh so pretty and such a heavenly scent.

  24. I am so praying for lilacs this year. It's always a guessing game. Will they come or no? Every year I get beautiful buds and barring a freeze at just the wrong moment we are gifted with the fragrant loveliness that is lilacs...

    Blessings, Debbie

  32. I love the photo of your lilacs. They are such special flowers (and last such a short time!) I've just moved from a house that had a beautiful white lilac tree in the front garden - it was in full bloom when I left - I was really sad to leave it behind.
