Flowers.
Cilantro. I bought a couple of plants to grow in pots. I love making guacamole during the summer.
Honey and soap.
Some of the first veggies of spring.
Pie. The kids are home this weekend, so I picked up an apple pie to have with dinner.

We love to visit the markets, no matter where we are.
Childhood toys , Red Rat and Blue Bear accompanied my sister and I to this flower stall in NE.

Can't think of a better way to spend a Sat. morning. I love that you and your sister took your childhood friends to the market. I haven't made the River Market here in KC yet this year. Seems to rain every Sat. but I am anxious to go.

ReplyDeleteWe love to go to farmers markets as well! During the summer we go to the mennenite farmers market and get great organic veggies. I love the flowers in your photos, i grow zinnias and love them....they have such vivid colors! I look forward to summer when the markets are all open.

Great post....I never seem to find time to get to the Farmer's Market but that looked so fun....this summer may just be the time to make time. The cilantro made my mouth water...it is one of my all time favorite smells!! Guacamole...salsa....ooohhhh...love it!! Thanks for sharing those great pics...;0)
