Sorry, spelling was bad in the last post so I deleted. I was saying.... nothing reminds us more of an old farm and simplier times that a spirea bush. :)
Fabulous. I just bought 3 shrubs and now I need to go and get a spirea. I cannot believe how wonderfully full yours is. Awesome. Is it facing the south?
Absolutely beautiful, Gayle! I ran out of time to make the cheesecake over the weekend, so Wednesday I plan on making it, since I need to be away tomorrow.
Beautiful! And yours is sooooo full. Mine is in shade and doesn't get so loaded, but still gets quite pretty....puts out suckers every year, so I need to try and relocate some more. Thanks for sharing !
I love that bush!!! It is very new to me!! Beautiful and stunning!! How long do those beautiful blooms stay? I'll be checking those out!!! Thanks for sharing! Have a great day!
What a great day for catching up! Your bush is fantastical. Oh my gosh was the photo with the pies ever cute and delicious! Your tea party cute as could be. Always so many wonderful things to see here! Elizabeth
I love Spirea, too. Such an olde- fashoned bush. We had an old one growing outside the hallway window in our 100 yr old house in Oklahoma (where i grew up). Neat fragrance, too. Bees loved it. My allergies did not ;(
THANK YOU for your thoughtful comments. Replies to your questions will be posted here, so be sure to check back soon. Have a wonderful day! - Gayle, Garden Of Daisies
Wow, that is stunning! You must really enjoy that bush when it puts on it's show every year!
