Irish Cailini

1. can dance a jig,
2. know all the verses to Danny Boy,
3. eat corned beef and cabbage,
4. march in a parade every March 17th, 
5. admit to kissing the Blarney Stone, 
6. love Liam Neeson films,
  7. can read this post with an Irish accent,
or 
8. have eyes that smile,
then you will appreciate these Irish cailini.

    When I used to work in seniors facilities and Danny Boy would bring so many tears to their old eyes. It used to make me cry seeing their sadness brought out with the song Danny Boy.

    My sister is married to an Irish man and she goes all out for her two boys on St. Patty's day. The Leprechauns are busy in her house around that time. Love your sweet paperdoll and card.

    I'm from New Orleans, and we have a St. Patrick's Day parade where cabbage, carrots, and onions are the main catch - then we go home and make a stew with our loot.

    I have a bit of Irish in me, but I can't do all of those things listed. Sorry to say, but I never liked corned beef! Love Danny Boy and Liam Neeson films! Don't know about the eyes now, when younger I was told they sparkled. Does that count? :)

    ha ha...those suggestions of how to know if you like St Patricks day were cute.
    I love Liam Neeson in ROB ROY (does that count)
    other then that, I have never been much of a St. Patricks day celebrator....other then the excuse to drink green beer (tee,hee)

    I have so missed these girls. I start my new job on Monday at a local commercial landscape co. It will be doing the seasonal flowers. I am so excited to be getting back to my horticulture roots. Renee

    The Irish have a prominent place in the history of both our countries. There used to be a lot of celebrations here but not as many as in earlier days. Maybe its due to them being outnumbered by other cultures now. I have an English friend who plays in an Irish band. They are popular on the hotel circuit.
