I enjoyed a nice hot cup of Irish Breakfast tea this morning.
Using some of my prettiest flowery cups and linens
helped to put a smile on my face.
Whether it's sipping tea from a pretty cup,
or reading a good book, or having lunch with a friend,
I hope you find a way to treat yourself to something nice today.

Sweet table setting and china for your cozy cup of tea. I agree, let's all take some moments to treat ourselves well. I ground coffee beans and had a nice cuppa this morning.
ReplyDeleteIt is most definitely turning into hot tea weather. Beautiful cup, I believe Paragon are the most sought after by collectors.
ReplyDeleteYour Paragon teacup is just lovely; such a pretty shade of green! The table setting is very nice and I'm so happy you have joined me for tea today! Hope you have a delightful evening.

Your tea cozy is simply lovely and your teacup is equally special.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that stitched tea cosy peeking out in some of your photos!!
ReplyDeleteThe teacup is so pretty. I hope you enjoyed your tea time. I also wanted to tell you I'm definitely going to be making that veggie soup. I do soup once a week in the fall and winter. It looks so good!
ReplyDeleteYou have the most beautiful things. I would enjoy sipping tea out of pretty cups with you. I went for a 2 hour fitness walk through the forest. I'm not sure if that was something nice. I would prefer to go more slowly and soak up the beauty of the forest.
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect shade of green for your Irish breakfast tea... Paragon china is such a lovely addition to teatime...hugs
ReplyDeleteOh, my favorite china company! I adore Paragone, their patterns, shapes and the feel of their pieces. This one in pale green with gorgeous flowers inside really catches my attention! Absolutely beautiful!!!

My mum used to use a pretty green tea set all the time. When 'company' came she would set the cups out on a silver tray, it always looked lovely.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't survive without tea. I wake up to a cup (made by my sweet husband) and put on the kettle the minute I get home from work!
ReplyDeleteLove your cheerful flowers.
Your teacup is so pretty. I love the soft green color.

Just checking in on you and thinking about you. Was pretty busy with our daughter's wedding, so am just trying to catch up with all my favorite blogs. I love the veggie soup and oh my, all the trims made my heart skip a beat.
ReplyDeleteTake care dear one,
Love,
Linda
Lovely treats. This weekend I found nice cups/mugs - sort of a cross between the two, that match my everyday dishes, which have fruit on them. I was delighted - plus it was 5.00 for a set of 8, so double delight. My cup of hot tea was delicious and delightful in the new cup.
