My little Easter tree.
It's late, but tomorrow I think I need to tweak this some more.
I don't like all the "stuff" under the tree.
I have a little yellow gingham bunny that I will put there instead.
Do you do that?
Decorate... and then change your mind and re-decorate?
Hello,
ReplyDeletesure I do that. A lot of things look in my mind totally different as in reality. So I change until they look like supposed. I love the sea colors of your Easter tree. That kind of tree looks much nicer for me than a tinsel tree. Really pretty.
Best greetings, Johanna
Oh yes...if something is not quite right, I work on it until it is. Simplicity really pulls me more and more.
ReplyDeleteDid you know that Easter trees are an old tradition here in Holland? I have had them with eggs I made (but gave away) and tiny wooden eggs. Now I use pretty metal eggs (you can see them on my blog) and will be using miniature ornaments for one here at our cottage where we are having a staycation this week. Our tradition is to use a twisted hazel branch but anymore people use any branches for the tree. I am going to cut a few small branches in the woods today for the miniature tree.
Love your egg ornaments. Did you make some of them?
Hugs from Holland ~
Heidi
Very cute-great colors:@)
ReplyDeleteThis is very cute! I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteYour egg tree is very sweet. Yes. I'm constantly rearranging my decorations. Chris always says I'm "fluffing" the decor again.
ReplyDeleteAll the time.....start stop and re-do!
ReplyDeletelove your tree.....one more week!
This is beautiful. I love them all over the wire tree. I redecorate constantly. When I can find a spare moment. Smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute Easter egg tree. Hope you have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteblessings,
Danielle
I do that all the time. Lately I don't decorate for Easter like I used to. I think it's because my kids are grown and I have no grandkids. I guess I should have the mindset to decorate for my husband and I...
ReplyDeleteI really like this. The colors are beautiful! And yes, when I used to decorate more, I'd often change things before I was satisfied!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!
I love these colors! Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteOoh - its like a Christmas tree for Easter. I've never seen one like that before. I love your eggs especially the green one in the middle with the little silver flowers.
ReplyDeletewhat a darling easter tree. and yes, I do a lot of tweeking also. changing this, moving that....always looking for the Perfect little spot.
ReplyDeleteand it makes me happy to "handle" all the decorations, whatever they are.
I think what I like best are all the pastels : )
ReplyDeleteFine tuning is what I like to call it. Re-decorating would to me mean one failed and had to re-do. Fine tuning is good.
ReplyDeleteLove the tree.
blessings, jilly
