Mine smell heavenly. How they made it in the heat I will never know. They are such a gift this time of year in the garden. Enjoy your lovely weekend...smiles...Renee
Hello, Yes I can imagine thos blossoms as wedding gown for a fairy. They are really lovely but my slugs love them as much as I do. So mine are all gone. :-( Best greetings, Johanna
Where are the holes in your hostas?! Mine are like lacework at this stage of the season from all the slugs and snails. Beautiful blooms, so delicate. Becky x
How PRETTY, Gayle! It DOES look like a dress for a fairy! The deer have eaten every single one of my blooms as well as every yellow daylily, too. Grrrrr! I even had a chipmunk coming up onto the deck to devour my cherry tomatoes in the pots. Double Grrrrr!
I love your sauteed summer squash, red peppers over the chipotle Pasta and tomatoes/basil. Wowzers, did that sound goooood! I'm going to try something similar soon. Thanks for the idea.
They DO look like little fairy dresses! I was just taking a picture of some hosta flowers the other day, and I was surprised by how pretty they really are!
The minute I saw the bloom on your hosta, I thought enchanting!!! Your hosta's are just blooming now? Hang your herbs out of sunlight for a couple of weeks depending on what you want to do with them you could email me and I'll let you know... Happy Sunday, Rosemary...xx

You are reminding me that I need to go check and see whether our plants are in bloom now too. Such a luscious plant and beautiful blossom.
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding me how beautiful the blooms are if you really take time to look at them!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine it as a gown but also perhaps as a pixie hat?

They are lovely - and I agree - just the perfect thing for a fairy's wedding.

Your hosta looks lovely. Mine didn't do so good this year without much rain.
ReplyDeletePretty photos! I planted my first hostas this year. So far they are doing okay in spite of the terrible heat, I water them often.
ReplyDeleteIf I were a garden fairy... that's what I would wear!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
Beautiful flowers. Do they have a lovely scent?
