Lilac Time



Damp earth and sweetly scented garden flowers 
infuse every breeze that frolics through my open window. 

Its lilac time of year!

  2. This was certainly a lilac year! Mine are full and the aroma is heady when I go outside . . . and I do have lots of bouquets in the house!

    1. I'm so glad I got these pics when I did. We had several days of rain right after they bloomed, and then they turned brown.

  18. Lucky you! Our weather hasn't calmed down long enough for things to know which season it is. I have buds on my lilacs, but it will be a while before I can enjoy those wonderful scents you've mentioned. Enjoy!
