I didn't plan it,
but this outdoor tea for a friend just kinda turned into a daisy tea.
I guess that's what happens when one uses leftover daisy napkins from some past event,
and sorta daisy-ish looking cupcakes,
and green, leafy dishes,
and yellow lemons, and...
:-)
A perfectly happy and wonderful daisy tea for me and my bestie.
Hope you're having a happy, wonderful, daisy kind of day, too.
Beautiful! Daisies make everything better! :)

DeleteLucky friend! What a charming setting and I imagine she felt quite cherished. It's the little things that can make someone know how much you appreciate them, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteYes, I would say that friendships are built on all those little things.
DeleteOh my day was a happy Daisy kind of day. Your tea looks fabulous - such pretty things.
ReplyDeleteThanks, JoAnn! Glad you had a happy day, too!
DeleteThat just looks like a perfectly happy sort of setting. You must have had a grand time!
ReplyDeleteVery happy. We always have a grand time when we get together. We've been friends since we were two years old.
DeleteLooks so pretty! The daisy cupcakes are almost too beautiful to eat.
ReplyDeleteThey were pretty, weren't they. I guess I need to clarify that I did not make them... they were from the bakery.

DeleteWhat a delicious daisy cupcake. A field with daisies is so beautiful!!!

DeleteWhat a special tea that was, Gayle! You did an amazing job with the cupcakes! VERY pretty! And the tarts in the background didn't go unnoticed either!
ReplyDeleteThe cupcakes came from the bakery. I have tried a little bit of cake decorating, but mine probably would not have looked as pretty.
DeletePretty!
