A package arrived on my doorstep and inside was
a lovely Canadian maple leaf teacup from my sister.
Isn't it pretty?
Such a meaningful gift, because
we lived in Canada when we were little girls.
So I'm enjoying a nice hot cup of Earl Grey
and Swedish ginger cookies.

ReplyDeleteLove the Maple Leaf tea cup. Brings back a memory of flying from my home, to meet my husband to be, back to where we were in college in Wisconsin. I was bringing with me, a tea cup in the china pattern we had chosen.

It must have been packed well so as not to break. It is a delicate design with a lovely shape. I like the gingerbread man plate too and wouldn't mind a ginger cookie either.I love ginger.
