Black Cats!

Cards from years past.   A family friend sent Halloween cards to me (and my sisters) every year when I was a little girl.  I loved the sparkling green gemstone eyes  and the flowers!  (Can you tell this was in the 60's?)    These cards were both by Norcross.

Uh oh!   Look who's coming to check out the cats.

Our real live Halloween kitty... Natasha!

I just hope that they won't stop producing cards and that people would support this art.

  8. Those are great cards from the 60's. I have a scrapbook I started in the mid to late 60's. I never thought to look to see if I had any Halloween cards in there.
    Have a Happy Halloween.

  18. Thanks for stopping by. I think it is great you saved these all these years. They look like new. They remind me of when I was a kid. I must be the same vintage.

  19. Ooooh, I love those cards! I wish I had the cards my mom used to decorate with when I was a kiddo. I looked forward to bringing them out of the box ever year and I never got tired of seeing them year after year. They were just barely hanging together by scotch tape, but they made me happy just the same. Thanks for bringing back some happy memories, today : )

  25. Thank you!! Yes it did arrive, and I have been working on my thank you notes!! This has been more fun than I ever dreamed possible! And fabric is still arriving! I got an envelope today from Canada that had 12 different fabrics....it is amazing that there has only been 2 duplicates in all that has been sent!!!! I am almost there.....just a few hundred more and I will have enough for this quilt! I am confident I will get them by the end of next week!!! Suzanne
